Amyloidosis is a rare, progressive, debilitating, and fatal disease that begins in the plasma cells of the bone marrow, and for which, there is currently no cure.
As it progresses, it attacks critical organ systems, and causes them to fail. Because the disease is rare, and does not affect as many people, it does not receive the funds for medical research and public awareness that it deserves.
I was diagnosed with Amyloidosis at Cleveland Clinic in June 2007. I am continuing to fight this disease with everything I have in me, and with the love and support of my family and friends.
I urge you to give generously to AmyloidosisSupport.com to raise public awareness of this devastating disease, and to support medical research which is ongoing at leading medical centers.
I have decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from each CD sold to AmyloidosisSupport.com
I want to personally salute the great work being done by Muriel Finkel, President of Amyloidosis Support Group, and her tireless work on behalf of Amyloidosis and all of us that suffer from this disease.
If you wish to make a donation, you can earmark your donation to the "Richard Harris CD Fund" through AmyloidosisSupport.com.
Please join me in fighting this disease!
